About me
I'm a freelance social media specialist and the heart of Pecly Social, a one-person creative studio. My journey crosses borders and worlds: I've worked on projects in both the United States and Brazil, spanning electronic music events, art and culture hubs, the hospitality and short-term rental market, and collaborations with doctors, influencers, chefs, and NGOs dedicated to conservation and the protection of traditional communities. I currently serve as Community & Info Lead for WHOLE Brasil, an international queer festival, where I manage support, moderation, and communication across official channels, DMs, and comments, blending care, conflict mediation, and brand protection with queer, intersectional, and political awareness.
What drives me is community. I don't just communicate to an audience, I'm part of it. I've spent years building and protecting spaces for people whose identities are politically contested, learning how to answer practical questions, handle sensitive or hostile messages with care, and know exactly when to escalate a case instead of improvising a response. That instinct for reading a community, what it needs, what puts it at risk, and how it wants to be spoken to, is what I bring to any team working under public scrutiny, where every reply can shape trust and every silence can shape a narrative.
That perspective is at the core of my research, "The Clubber Community and the Role of Fashion in Belonging: A Comparative Analysis of the São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro Scenes," published in Vista, the peer-reviewed Visual Culture journal of the University of Minho. The work bridges academic insight with real, lived participation in a community built around identity and belonging, and it reinforces the same grounded, human lens I bring to political and social communication: never treating an audience as a demographic, always as people with something real at stake.
I'm here to turn ideas into action, protect and grow communities that truly believe in what they're part of, and help a cause or a brand show up in the digital world with clarity, care, and conviction.
